Made for TV programming seldom if ever has anything in common with film, even the meritorious stuff on PBS drones on and on, generating sleep inducing alpha-waves in the viewer, and makes a handy and exercise free substitute for a day at the beach or a restful walk in the woods. Used as a substitute for human interaction—well, that’s hard drugs, and we won’t comment on that here.
